It is an immense pleasure to personally recommend Latif Shareef for the position for which he is being considered. I have had the honour to serve as Latif’s project manager on a large long term Geometallurgical Iron Ore project in which Latif performed exceptionally well. Initially Latif was appointed as a Metallurgical Technician following the Global Financial Crisis and he quickly distinguished himself as someone with ambition and strong organisational and management skills. With his academic qualifications and with our need to retain people of high quality, we soon appointed Latif as a Junior Metallurgist. As part of this role, Latif supervised 15 technicians on a daily basis, maintained a 3 shift production and managed all the workloads while maintaining the highest quality results and throughputs for a diverse and technically challenging project. He also successfully managed the budget and invoicing aspect for the project and has quickly established a working relationship with the client. It is in large part due to Latif’s efforts that our primary client had the confidence to renew a 2 year contract with the company.
