Currently working as an Intern for 36 hours a week. Learning firsthand about how an office runs, as well as watching early stage startups grow and develop their business and products. During my time in my role here, I have: -Developed and tracked metrics for the pilot IMPACT program, which helps early stage life science and biotech based start-up companies grow. We also connect them with resources and investors all throughout the industry to help them grow their company. -Conducted market research for startup companies to evaluate trends and look into new products -Created financial models for startup companies to evaluate potential costs of developing new products -Developed and implemented a new website to better track metrics and allocate resources to resident start up companies. -Reviewed applications for the BARDA DRIVe Mask Innovation Challenge, which was a contest that gave out >100K in grant money to people and companies with innovative ideas for facemasks. Challenge received over 1400 applications and made news worldwide on news sites such as CNN and CBS. -Performed daily tasks to keep office running; made purchase orders for supplies and tracked office inventory.
