I have worked closely with Laska on implementation of large scale European Programmes with partners from 40+ countries. In those years, I have seen her not only excel at the core elements of her job -- like leading and developing flagship campaigns -- but also extend well beyond: planning and elaborating network growth, community building and organizational strategy. Laska has grown as quickly as her network and campaigns, her willingness to learn, meet new people, gain other perspectives and take on extra responsibilities is impressive. Laska's mastery for both connecting people, and developing strategy, have been critical to the campaigns’ growth, and aligned with a sharp increase in engagement and capacity building of partners leading to real, substantial social impact. Her unique mix of people skills and strategic thinking explains her success in her previous roles and predicts her accomplishments in the future. I miss working with Laska daily, as she personally inspired me to grow a lot, but hope I will have the opportunity to work with Laska again.
