      Global Casting was sold out of Vestas. It supplies large casted and machined Parts Worldwide. It has 5 factories in 4 Countries. 2 Major Project have dominated my time in GC. As part of the Vestas Sale, 2 Foundries was closed, and I was Project Manager of transferring Product to our new Sister Company Silbitz Guss Group. A Business Critical Task, where We managed to keep Supply to the Customer unaffected. In 2014 GC acquired a not completed Foundry in Stade, Germany. Project step 1 was to finish building, build up Organization, tranfer 2 Product and Ramp Up Production. Truly an All comprehensive Project. Step 2 was to build and Start a Machining Department. Installed Machines capable of Parts up 100 Ton and 6,5 meter in Size. Only 7 month after starting 1st. Machine, we managed to pass the ISO9001 audit without Deviations. Show less

      Project department in Vestas Components, which belongs to Vestas manufacturing.The department supports 6 factories ( 2 machine shop and 4 Foundry's).The factories are located in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany and China.The Cost Out Project "Sand Savings and Cooling time Reduction" was a Project across all 4 Foundries.
