Larry gave me my start in the Staffing Industry in 1992. His unwavering confidence, clear vision, and knowledge inspired not only me, but the entire staff - Labor Locators had the lowest turn-over in our industry. Larry has the uncanny ability to assess a situation, presenting options most would overlook. Larry mentored me in staffing, in business, and through the many life lessons in general I faced during the 10 years I proudly represented Labor Locators. I still consider Larry Melby a mentor and a friend.

We were a staffing company, specializing in hard workers in Southern California. We had up to 5 offices. I the founder and first staff member. We employed up to 2500 people a year. After 9/11, it became obvious that we would probably not survive, so I wound up the business in an orderly fashion, gave all of the staff good severances, paid all of the bills, turned my customers and staff to a better financed competitor, and started looking for new opportunities..
