Now retired after 52 years in the newspaper business, 49 at The Pueblo Chieftain. Worked as the assistant managing editor for the six years, city editor 10 years, sports editor three years, as well stints as regional editor and weekend city editor for The Chieftain. Began my professional career in 1968 as sports editor at the San Luis Valley Courier in Alamosa, CO, while pursuing my college degree at Adams State University. Now retired after 52 years in the newspaper business, 49 at The Pueblo Chieftain.
