In my role as Outreach & Media Specialist for Reach Out, I shared an office with Larenn, and we worked on numerous projects together. When Larenn joined our department, it was understaffed, and the leadership positions had been abruptly vacated. In those conditions, Larenn quickly proved herself as a capable, empathetic, highly organized, and extraordinarily resourceful asset to our team and organization. She has even saved the day on a couple of occasions: Without Larenn's knowledge of grant applications and non-profit operations, the substance prevention programs and services at Reach Out would have deteriorated. Larenn directly improves community health and advocacy for communities in San Bernardino County, and she is a more-than-capable team member with leadership qualities. Any organization would be proud to have Larenn looking after their programs and building beneficial relationships with community stakeholders.
