I couldn't recommend Lara more highly as a designer and visual strategist. Lara and I collaborated often at Vulcan, where I was leading marketing efforts for tech for good products and would turn to Lara for her expertise and gift for bringing stories to life and engaging an audience. She patiently and collaboratively identified the core intent of our marketing efforts and would then create artifacts that exceeded expectations. Her talent for crafting engaging layouts and visuals and intuition for storytelling helped communicate our target message effectively in multiple mediums, from product one pagers to keynote presentations. After working together as colleagues, I engaged Lara to create a logo for a podcast I was launching. As usual, she patiently absorbed my ideas and goals for the podcast and crafted a logo that fit my vision exceptionally. I hold Lara as the standard bearer for great visual designers - anyone who has her on their team is stronger for it.

I had the great fortune to work with Lara on several design projects that focused on translating very technical, scientific content into visual products that were used in high-profile global advocacy campaigns to protect and save sharks from extinction. Lara was always professional and demonstrated agility with ever-changing creative directives and shifting deadlines. She always brought her best, creative self to the projects in her portfolio, and was a true thought-partner in my visual design needs. I highly recommend Lara as a visual designer.

Lara is a visual designer who exemplifies collaboration and partnership. At Vulcan, Lara and I worked together on a comprehensive product for our executive leadership, and she excelled in delivering a masterful communication design that exemplified the vision and brought complex content to life. It was a demanding project, under tight deadlines, but Lara was kind and understanding throughout. Lara’s attention to detail, creativity, and collaboration were essential to the success of this initiative, which was ultimately signed off on by our CEO and owner. Lara is fun to work with, brings energy and innovation to the creative process, works well under stress, and takes and gives feedback to further the ultimate cause. I am fortunate to have worked with Lara, and highly recommend her as a visual designer.
