"Wiser than her years" is the phrase that comes to mind when I think about Lara Sibbing. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Lara for two years as an academic departmental colleague (and then a friend and ally working toward more sustainable food systems). Above all, I was impressed with Lara’s competence and big-picture thinking. And, of course, her light-heartedness brought a joyful energy to discussions of thorny issues. Lara would be a true asset for any positions requiring circumspection and holistic thinking to complex problems.
