  Brot für die Welt is a globally acting NGO. Based in Berlin, the focus of its work is strengthening Human Rights, eliminating hunger and promoting education. With the support of local partner organizations, Brot für die Welt works in 90 countries around the world. Simultaneously, in the German national context, Brot für die Welt engages in political decision-making. During my internship, I supported the implementation of the UN-Principles for strengthening Responsible Supply Chains in a national framework. Furthermore, I gained in-depth knowledge about theoretical and practical principles of Unarmed Civilian Peacekeeping.

  The MZES conducts social science research on the development of European societies and their political systems from both a comparative and an integration perspective. The Centre has a strong analytical-empirical and comparative tradition, contributing to theoretical developments and to substantial knowledge. It adopts cross-national comparative and multi-level integration approaches, and combines perspectives from sociology and political science. With its specific profile the MZES holds a unique and leading international position. My job as a research assistant provided me with profound skills in quantitative research methods as well as data collection, editing and analysis, especially in combination with the STATA Software. Additionally, I acquired proficiency in literature research and management.
