  Worked for clients such as the Environment Agency, Hanson Aggregates, Anglian Water, Aggregate Industries and Dwr Cymru Welsh Water. A major project I contributed to is the delineation of Source Protection Zones (SPZ) in the Lincolnshire Chalk and the North East Anglia Chalk aquifers using regional flow models developed by Amec Foster Wheeler, which are now published on the Environment Agency's "What's in my Backyard?" website. The work involves understanding the mechanisms of regional groundwater flow models and using their outputs along with hydrogeological desk studies to characterise the protection zones required. I gained experience in hydrogeological monitoring, data processing and management through assisting in the quarterly monitoring schemes for several large UK quarries and through providing technical support to the update of inflows to Welsh Water's HYSIM models for WRMP19. I was also involved in catchment characterisation, water features surveys, building simple flow models and model post-processing. Show less
