I worked with Lara on the St Helens, Warrington, Widnes and Halton NHS LIFT project and she was one of the main factors behind us winning the bid. Her knowledge of the regeneration "market" allied to her "always-smiling" personality was a huge asset to our, at the time, unknown bidding team. We beat all of the traditional PPP/PFI bidders to win this, from a standing start, and because of the ethos that we created this LIFT has subsequently gone on to become multi award winning and is held up a England's exemplar project.
