This role requires flexility and for one to adapt quickly to change, as your position within the shop can constantly be changing for the sake of a phenomenal, but quick, experience for the customers in order to serve them their desserts. First, I have become much more skilled in the preparation and packaging of a variety of desserts while filling orders within a timely manner. Then, my customer service skills have also increased, as I truly enjoy interacting with customers as a hostess to take their order and bring them their order. My abilities to multi-task have increased significantly as I have also learned to take phone orders in which one must display good phone etiquette, basic computer proficiency, conflict resolution, knowledge of menu, specialties, and current stock availability in order for customers to have a pleasant experience as they order or seek information for future orders with our business. I most enjoy the great team in which I work, the amazing ingredients that go into the desserts we make, and helping all of our customers, whether new or regulars, have the most enjoyable experience they can with us.
