- Designed a recycling program tailored specifically to the needs in the community of Matapalo through collaboration with a conservation non-profit, local businesses, and schools to develop a long-term recycling plan for the town-Initiated an environmental education program at the primary and secondary schools in Matapalo, Puntarenas, Costa Rica. -Developed learning objectives for 40 lessons for 4 different age groups focusing on important and current environmental topics -Created the framework, overview, and schedule of the program, provided direction for future work on the program
