Lane leveraged his extensive leadership experience to assist our commercial land surveying small business for one year starting in Summer 2022. One of Lane's initial achievements was his introduction of the SkillBridge program to our organization. His guidance and support were significant in helping us navigate the process and attain certification as a Department of Defense (DoD) partner for military service members interested in pursuing careers in land surveying and engineering services. Lane's commitment to facilitating opportunities for veterans in our industry showcased his dedication to both our business and our community. As Executive Intern, he studied the company’s industry, profile, operations, and processes while spearheading & implementing updates to the website. As CEO-Elect, he led efforts to identify, prioritize, research, and draft human resources plans. Upon assuming the role of CEO, Lane seamlessly transitioned into the position of leader and mentor for our company's co-founders. He played a crucial role as one of three key strategists responsible for guiding the development and execution of organizational goals, tracking actions and successes, and fostering a positive corporate culture. Lane was instrumental in the establishment of our health benefits plan, retirement savings plan, and the formulation of an education benefits plan. He took the lead in our recruiting initiatives and developed, implemented, and facilitated programs for training, mentoring, equipment/vehicle maintenance, work vehicle issuance, crew chief certification, and employee recognition. Throughout his company affiliation, Lane served as a force towards identifying risks, capturing actions, and following tasks through to completion with the overall result of the development of a framework for healthy company growth and the means to continue the plans, programs, & policies developed and implemented during his tenure. We are confident that he will continue to excel in his future endeavors.

Lane guided NAVSOC Pt Mugu through operational & organizational challenges while managing satellite services to warfighters. His superb performance as Executive Officer (Deputy Director) while leading 51 GS, 15 officers, & 74 contractors resulted in the execution of tens of thousands of satellite supports. He managed resource & personnel issues through sequestration & furloughs, a successful MUOS-2 July 2013 launch, & disaster plan execution during the May 2013 Camarillo Springs fire which threatened headquarters operations & caused mandatory base evacuations. He also led the unit through preparations, POA&M creation, & successful execution of the February 2014 command readiness inspection. His commitment to excellence was critical to successful mission accomplishment at the Navy's only Space Operations Center. I'd trust Lane to garner positive results from any future team he joins.
