May 2014 - Jan 2015
In addition to all the previously listed duties of my community advisor position, I planned lessons and taught a one-credit hour pass-fail class called Discovering Science Freshman Interest Group(FIG) for entering Mizzou students with the help of my faculty mentor Dr. Jim Spain. I led lessons in a variety of scientific fields that could be explored at Mizzou and generally helped ease the transfer of freshman into college life through mentorship and experiential learning.
