Bio
Landry is an excellent programmer and a great thinker, which makes him an exceptional data scientist. He has a passion for achieving highest goals and best solutions possible, and equipped with necessary skills to achieve them (solid understanding of math, statistics, various programming languages and most importantly the ability to apply them to the real-world problems) . He seeks the optimal solution and most efficient methods to use (if not available, he would invent it), and takes realistic approach. He is mature as a person as well. He helped almost everyone in his group with from programming to tips for shopping shoes. He is really a well-rounded person, and easy and pleasant to work with. We all miss him here at TD, and envy of people who get to work with him. I worked with him side by side every day in the same project in the same group for 8 months, and I miss working with him dearly.
I worked directly with Landry in two projects for almost one year. Technically, I can say that his a talented and experienced software engineer and data scientist - among the top 10% professionals in data structures and machine learning programming that I have ever worked with. On the personal standpoint, Landry is a very friendly person, and delivered strong spontaneous support in some key issues that I have faced in the projects that I was working on. Landry is ready for new professional experiences and I am sure that he will have a relevant contribution in his new company.
