WILDPROJECT is a publishing house specialized in environmental nonfiction and decolonial studies, that fosters paradigm changes and new narratives. Our catalogue is built on 4 collections : • "Domaine sauvage" gathers founding books of environmental philosophy (non-fiction). • "Tête nue" tells stories of places, between nature writing and "écriture du réel" (narratives). • "À partir de Marseille" displays the entire world through one city (non-fiction). • "Le Monde qui vient" explores the crossroads between environmentalism and decolonial studies (non-fiction). A French publishing house with an American name, Wildproject was originally conceived in 2003 during a residency in Bard College (NY). Several titles of our catalogue and the spirit of the house keep track of this transatlantic foundation. Among our leading international authors are Rachel Carson, Gary Snyder, J. Baird Callicott, Arne Næss, Imanishi Kinji, Kenneth White, Hugh Raffles, John B. Jackson, Ghassan Hage, and French authors Pascal Menoret, Julien Gravelle, Baptiste Morizot, Michel Samson, Philippe Pujol… Founded in 2008 in Paris by Baptiste Lanaspeze, Wildproject settled in Marseille in 2009. We currently publishes about 10 books a year. Show less
