The Miami FC is a United Soccer League professional soccer team. Because it is not Major League Soccer, its organization is a lot smaller. Each department is required to work together daily and be very hands-on in order to allow players to compete and thus allow a great fan experience. Although I worked as a Marketing Coordinator under the VP of Marketing, I gained experience in many departments. One of the most valuable experiences was the overall transition from games without fans to having all events and activations prepared for a stadium welcoming all visitors. The Miami FC is resetting its foundation, and I was there to be a part of the transition. - Oversaw all deliverables with sponsors and other departments to make sure they were completed and in good time. - Participated in marketing activations every weekend to get Fútbol305 more in the community. - Ordered, heat pressed, counted, and organized jerseys and other merchandise to be prepared for gamedays. - Learned and assisted in setting up events for children during games, weekend events, and also smaller activations throughout the stadium on gamedays. - Videotaped fans, sponsor highlights, and merchandise for Instagram. - Prepared and organized the new merchandise for a full-day photoshoot. - Welcomed families and VIP fans into the stadium while also directing them to their proper locations. - Communicated information between multiple departments in order to facilitate news quicker. - Created graphics for posters to decorate our VIP Suite & also photoshopped and developed a new catering menu for these ticket holders. - Discussed and went over progress with other departments during meetings to see how each department could aid one another to achieve everyone's common goal: more fans and a better fan & player experience.
