      Evaluation of CRISPR/Cas knockdown of glutathione-dependent genes in Group B Streptococcus: To determine the role of glutathione in GBS gene expression. Based on our RNA sequencing results, we hypothesize that glutathione regulates multiple genes involved in promoting virulence and evading the immune response. We employ a combination of transcriptomics, metabolomics, and CRISPR-Cas techniques to study these important mechanisms in GBS.
