I am heavily involved with Network support for all offices across the world from America to China. Working in a very busy environment has taught me to prioritise my work load, so that we solve the most important issues in a timely and efficient manner. I have been involved with many projects. One being given the chance to build on my skill set with setting up and configuring routers and switches for our new regional offices. My day to day network duties consisted of managing networks configurations in our London and regional offices. My time at One Financial Markets was short, however very beneficial. I was involved with maintaining and supporting the MT4 Trading Servers, MT4 Trading Datacenters, MT4 Watchdog and MT4 Client Terminals. This was the core of the business and I was heavily involved with supporting clients trading queries and issues. As for Desktop support, I supported our internal Users as well as remotely supporting our regional offices. My general day-to-day duties included fix pc issues, support Microsoft Office 2007 Applications and supporting and maintaining printer issues. I was also working on projects while working on my day-to-day duties. I was involved with the setup of a monitoring system, which help us become proactive and foresee specific issues with the infrastructure and design of the network. Working for Alpari between December 2010 and March 2013 was an influential turning point in my career. I had the opportunity to work with various technologies. The technologies I worked upon were Trading Servers and Platforms, VMWare, backup solutions, Citrix Farms, Exchange 2007 & 2010, Kaspersky Antivirus and Microsoft Office 2007 & 2010 Applications. My day-to-day duties were providing support on desktop issues as well as supporting the technologies listed. I was trusted and had the freedom to be proactive and improve specific procedures, which were delaying our support response SLA's, imaging PC's and etc. I was involved with many projects, one of which I am most proud of was having been trusted and sent to Dubai to help build the new office. Being the sole IT representative for the company, I had to quickly improve upon my IT Skills Set to help provide valuable support to the users. This is were I learnt a very valuable skill to obtain, which is responsibility. I was responsible for not only providing desktop support but also, helped in maintaining and configuring AD, Exchange 2003, Backup Executive 2010, Financial applications and etc. I also worked on many projects, some of which were implementing an archive solution and moving offices.
