Resident chaplain in the pediatrics and neonatal departments of the hospital. I was responsible for about 10 on-call shifts per month which afforded me exposure to trauma incidents like shootings and stabbings. I participated in preparing and preaching weekly chapel services on a rotating basis.

I have developed an active youth group. I serve as mentor and youth pastor to youth between the ages of 11 and 18. I organize lesson plans, teach, lead, and organize activities that promote unity and fellowship. I also preach when needed, and other responsibilities as an ordained minister.

I completed a Clinical Pastoral Education residency with Hospice of the Bluegrass where I served as pastor and spiritual leader to individuals nearing the end of life.
