This includes establishing and maintaining the vision of the Crisis Outreach program, monitoring the performance of two federally funded grants, providing support and leadership to all program staff, and collaborating to provide Crisis Outreach support to other programs at CMHC. The Crisis Outreach Manager will be responsible for building community partnerships that support the vision of the Crisis Outreach program. This position will require some evening and weekend hours as necessary to ensure effective operation of after-hours outreach and crisis intervention services. Direct responsibility for day to day operations of the Living Room, a mental health crisis support center, including developing structure and policies/procedures, scheduling staff, evaluating program effectiveness based on grant objectives and organizational expectations, and establishing a plan for growth. Direct responsibility for day to day operations of a federally funded outreach program serving people who are experiencing homelessness including developing program structure, scheduling staff, monitoring program outcomes based on grant deliverables, and establishing a plan for growth. Seek to build expertise in outreach and crisis intervention method and philosophy in order to establish effective program structure and provide guidance to the organization as necessary. Ensure staff receive appropriate training based on their program roles and their desired development. Ensure program data is actively tracked in order to accurately evaluate performance and compliance with grant requirements. Develop plans to improve performance. Build relationships with community partners to establish Sertoma as a key community resource for crisis intervention and outreach. Provide effective supervision and coaching to all assigned team members.
