  I was assigned to a project to control the seismic acquisition process at Tanimbar Island. I analyzed the acquisition result about data seismic and noise records to decide the processing method for the next step. I also interpreted marine seismic 2D data, such as creating a time structure map, identifying system tracts, and creating a facies map to see the sediment distribution.   I was assigned to proceed with seismic records on Offshore North West Java Basin to eliminate noise data. This project also became my thesis topic, which is "Internal Multiple Attenuation Using Internal Multiple Elimination Method." Internal multiple or interbed multiple is a well-known seismic noise for its difficulty to remove due to the similarity with primary data. Therefore, to eliminate this type of noise, I used an advanced version of pre-existing methods that initially eliminated a different noise. By using some approaches, I succeeded in removing the targeted multiple. Show less
