      Below I list the interventional radiological procedures I perform in my practice, in addition to performing non-invasive relevant imaging with ultrasound, CT and MRI (specialising in vascular imaging): Vascular interventional procedures - Image-guided insertion of tunnelled central and dialysis lines, including complex line insertion - Insertion of portacaths - Diagnostic angiography - Angioplasty and stenting (e.g. iliac, superficial femoral and crural, venous, renal, visceral etc.) - Inferior vena cava filter insertion and retrieval - Elective embolotherapy e.g. spermatic vein embolisation for varicocele, uterine artery embolisation for fibroids, ovarian vein for pelvic congestion syndrome - Mesenteric arteriography - Selective chemo-embolisation for tumours, e.g. liver - Emergency embolotherapy for haemorrhage / trauma - Vascular thrombolysis and thrombectomy for arterial or venous thrombosis - Endovascular graft stenting, e.g. EVAR - Haemodialysis access maintenance, e.g. fistuloplasty, central venous stenosis angioplasty - Transjugular liver biopsy Non-vascular interventional procedures: - Fluid aspiration / drainage, e.g. pleural, peritoneal - Core biopsy, e.g. liver, renal - Image-guided drainage in various clinical scenarios, including percutaneous pleural and transhepatic drainage and cholecystostomy - Drainage of complex collections, e.g. loculated collections, empyema - Image-guided nutritional procedures, e.g. nasogastric tube placement, radiologically-inserted gastrostomy (RIG) - Percutaneous nephrostomy and ureteric stent insertion - Percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography (PTC) and biliary drainage / stenting Oncological interventional procedures, for example radiofrequency or microwave ablation of tumours (lung, liver, kidney) and also chemoembolisation of tumours e.g. liver.
