The privilege of working in an a fascinating industry with a bunch of clever people comes with some pressures. Your communication skills are expected to be through the roof, allowing you to land each presentation or debrief perfectly. But even for very clever and knowledgeable folks it’s often easier said than done. Most people have some baggage of insecurities and nerves that cloud the ability to hone in precisely on what needs to be communicated in an impactful manner. And that makes it easy to go off script, weave in too much detail, and dilute the message. Working with Kym gave all of us invaluable pointers into how to unlock the authentic Brand Me, and channel this into finding ways of communicating more efficiently and economically with intent and impact. We learned extremely useful tools and frameworks for focusing our communications and achieving the right balance in them, while keeping them personal and authentic. We’ve been working with the tips and techniques from the workshop ever since. Kym was also a fabulous facilitator, immediately striking a human connection with the team and creating an atmosphere conducive to self-reflection, drive for improvement and learning. Highly recommended for, very simply, making people communicate better. Even those who are convinced they’ve already got this covered.

I chose to work with Kym because of the joyful energy and confidence she exudes so naturally. It spoke to me, and so I introduced myself at a business event. I followed her work and believed instinctively she could help elevate me to the next level. Best. Decision. Ever. I immersed myself in her 12-week program, and we continued from there. Kym coaxed me out from the tentative, unassured person I perceived myself to be when we began working together. She helped me identify my ‘golden thread’ (as she calls it), which is the highest and best use of my energy. She guided me to my best self, where my confidence could be found, and then she taught me how to weave a cohesive, whole fabric from all my relevant skills, experience and knowledge. This was hard work, for which I was prepared and committed. Kym created a safe space for me to practice, to learn and to grow. Epiphanies were commonplace in our sessions. She provided tools. She provided feedback. She provided expert assistance in directing me toward the bold and confident businesswoman I always knew I could become. And do you know the best part? As challenging as the task was, we had a ball! We laughed often, we laughed loud. I looked forward to every session with Kym. I learned not to give away my power by allowing others to define me. I learned to create space and let others walk into it. I learned to speak with poise and confidence, clearly and succinctly. I learned to accept my imperfections… let them show up and leave them right where they are (I no longer waste precious energy by fighting with them, giving them fuel).
