• Kym led the Harder+Company evaluation team that helped TCWF measure the effects of core operating support during the Great Recession. • She worked with a team to create innovative metrics to look at the effects of core operating support on organizational capacity, financial sustainability, and credibility of the organization. • The evaluation used a mixed methods approach, including case studies and a grantee survey that achieved a 73% response rate. • She was able to navigate a lot of data and developed a dynamic report that creatively informs diverse audiences (e.g., our foundation, grantees and other funders). • She is thoughtful, creative, responsive, strategic. • Kym was more than an evaluator for us – she was a coach and a teacher. We learned a great deal from working with her. • Plus, Kym is a lot of fun!

I am very excited to be building Raimi + Associates' evaluation, planning, and assessment practice, while providing research direction and management oversight to our Berkeley, Los Angeles, and Riverside offices. My background is in designing and conducting evaluation, and providing a range of consulting services to nonprofits, government agencies, community collaborations, and foundations. I have had the opportunity to work with The California Wellness Foundation, CDPH Office of Health Equity, Napa County Health and Human Services Public Health Division, San Francisco Department of Public Health, CALCASA PreventConnect, Shalom Bayit, and the Asian+Pacific Islander Wellness Center. I have worked for over a decade to develop a culturally based consulting practice that emphasizes the ongoing reflection and study of research practices with diverse populations across the state and nation. An essential part of this work is to ensure that diverse community members are engaged in meaningful ways. I have also made important contributions in the field of healthy communities, by bringing expertise in the assessment, planning, and evaluation of complex community efforts to improve health. Specialties: Community change evaluation, strategic and community planning, quantitative and qualitative research methods, place-based assessment and evaluation, cross sector and collective impact assessment and evaluation, and participatory research.
