Compositing 3D renders of an Orangutan into reflections on glass with photographic images, working from visualisation stage to final retouch refining colours and lighting correctly for the scene. I felt so lucky to be on such an incredible campaign. You can see images on my website. Also some jobs required Matt Painting, for moving image. This was my first job after arriving in the UK, working in the magazine department for News International. It was a fast passed work environment where I expanded my printing knowledge and CMYK profiling having to work for a wide variety of publications. It involved meticulous attention to detail, basic In-design knowledge, the ability to produce and deliver multiple retouching projects within deadline, manage and maintain a large database of imagery and alias with a variety of designers and art directors. It was a great job to kick start my career in London before moving to freelance. Show less

99- Derived from BBDO Colenso. 99 is NZ’s leading retail advertising agency. They have an extensive range of clients from local to global brands such as Vodafone NZ, Air New Zealand, Moister Mist, Farmers and Kmufs to name a few. I was lucky to have the opportunity to work with a team of highly skilled and experienced retouchers, whom I learnt a lot from; as well as a large client range to pick up skills in product retouching right through to fashion and beauty retouching. I began my role photographing and retouching vodafone handsets, which required meticulous attention to color and textures, making handsets look glamours yet true to color. It also required re-creating some surfaces from scratch in addition to creating their shadow and refection so it they would be uniform within their catalogue. I developed further into fashion and beauty retouching with few creative projects. It was a great base to build my retouching skills in photoshop as well as pick up some basic skills in In design and illustrator. The role involved strict time management, extensive pre-press and colour knowledge, the ability to work close closely with art-directors and creatives to deliver their desired result. Show less

I spent six months with Princess Cruise Lines, cruising around Alaska, Canada, America and Mexico. The Sapphire Princess held 2500 passengers. Photography team consisted of 11 photographers from all over the world, so clear communication skills were essential. The work demanded high energy levels and good technical skills with an ability to build a excellent rapport with clients you were photographing. It was a great lifestyle waking up every morning in a new country or location. I was fortunate to see parts of the world I would never personally have ventured for at this age. But so glad I did an amazing experience. Show less

As well as doing basic retouching on the products that had been shot. I collaborated with the Designer and Marketing Manager on composites of images for advertisement inside the seasonal Fashion Quarterly Magazine.
