  I have recently started an Internship at the Community Legal Information Center within the Penal Law Project. Within this department I will be assisting incarcerated individuals in state and federal prison facilities around the United States by providing legal information upon requests. This includes research materials on relevant case law, penal statutes, and basic legal information. I will be operating as a paralegal student, accessing and locating requested forms and/or legal information.   I am a Campus Station Intern for new Social Media platform, Swell. I will be networking with fellow students, faculty, and peers while introducing them to this new form of social media where ideas and opinions are expressed through voice rather than texts. This format enables users to record their own thoughts in a podcast format, and allows for real time conversations to take place. This allows the users to feel a more personal connection through conversations by giving the speaker the ability to use tone and emphasis within their speech. Show less
