  At ASQA, I gained five years experience representing the Commissioner for Regulatory Operations working in the Executive Business Support Unit with Executive Officers & Executive Assistants supporting the three Commissioners & the Senior Management Group. When the Commissioner retired in 2016, I transitioned to the Initial Assessment & Referral Team (now known as the Registration Team). I was responsible for reviewing & assessing evidence that supports approval of initials applications (VET & CRICOS), add to scope applications, material change applications (including change of ownership of companies) and adding CRICOS delivery sites (including 9B compliance). Assessment includes reviewing their provider profile, taking into consideration the compliance history risk rating and overall ensuring they have a positive regulatory audit compliance history. Assessing Risk, managing Regulation & Compliance is essential to ensure providers are delivering quality training & assessment for both domestic and international students. As of 3 January 2023, I gained a promotion into the Course Accreditation Team. I am currently managing VET sector requests, for transition extensions. Show less
