Following a major acquisition and business re-organisation earlier this year, I assumed the role of Executive Assistant to the Vice President Operations Australia for our Mining, Minerals and Metals business. As a key member of the Australian MM&M Leadership team I provide support to the Australian Leadership team and actively ensure that they operate and deliver at an optimum level to achieve our business needs.Accountabilities; • Co-ordination of VP’s daily activities – ensuring he is fully prepared and briefed for all meetings • Comprehensive Diary Management• Management of VP’s mailbox and all associated communications• Collation of team input for Board Papers & Quarterly Reports • Creation of Internal Communications• Mentor / Manager of office Administration staff• Office Manager overseeing all office functions including relocations• Client interface• Interstate and International travel arrangements• Organisation of company Christmas Party; and Customer EventsOn top of my current role, our company has just completed an amalgamation of its current Perth office locations (5 offices staffing 1,000 people) into one single office with a tenancy of over 10,000sqm. This project included a full building fit out - design, construction and then the respective relocation of each of our offices. I was the Project Manager of this project acting as the business representative working closely with our Property Leasing team; The Head Contractor and other associated parties. This massive project was completed within schedule and under budget.

Provided high level Executive support to the Director Development responsible for the delivery of Fortescue's 100 Million tonne per annum expansion ($9B) and future development plans. Highlights of my time at Fortescue included; Itinerary preparation and travel management of a Vendor Visit to 8 countries; meeting 14 different clients in 6 days using a private jet for the CEO, COO and the Director Development. During my time at Fortescue three of these visits were undertaken, all to different locations visiting different clients. Supporting my manager in a Community Role as Campaign Chairman of the Ronald McDonald House Capital Campaign. This campaign was put in place to raise funds from the Corporate community to enable a new Ronald McDonald House to be built close to the new Children’s Hospital currently under construction. Our target of $22M was achieved in just over 8 months. Apart from assisting with the co-ordination and liaison between the Campaign team, I was responsible for the co-ordination of all the Fortescue employee contributions from all 5 sites across Western Australia (though payroll deductions; team fundraising; raffles etc). A total of $120,000 was contributed via employee engagement.
