Mining engineer within the technical services team at Grasstree mine.- Ventilation projects inclusive of coordinating, scoping, planning, budgeting and implementation of all VCD construction works across the site. Key projects include: Overcasts, underpasses, machine doors, VCD Repairs, Use of PUR, and installation of seals/bulkheads. - Co-ordinate 3 x Shaft backfill projects Facilitating risk management and planning for contract groups to work within the site's SHMS and complete the backfill of 2 shafts to the overlying Aquila seam. This included the removal, refurbishment, and replacement of all surface infrastructure. These shafts were then handed over to the neighboring Aquila mine and re-commissioned for use.A third shaft backfill project was fully coordinated from scoping, budgeting through to decommissioning, and filling to the surface RL for final rehabilitation. - Backfill of underground voids - utilising surface risers and a low strength grout product - voids were filled from the surface to mitigate operational risk. - Contractor management - Scoping and instruction for both surface and underground contractors- Assist UIS drainage function with coverage as required. - Facilitate planning meetings as required- All functions incorporating a range of risk assessment processes to develop management plans, SWP's and permits to work.
