- Provide 1:1 instructional and leadership coaching for 30-33 corps members per SY across 12 district and charter schools in low-income Boston communities (Roxbury, Mattapan, Dorchester, Mission Hill, Jamaica Plain, Hyde Park) with monthly observations, including 12 CMs during summer Pre-Service at Spark Academy, Lawrence, MA. - Collaborate and coordinate with each CMs’ school-based coaches and principals to calibrate coaching support (planning, classroom management, time/task management, retention support, practice clinics, managing up to school leadership). - Co-led school-based CM staff of 17 as cultural and instructional co-head during summer Pre-Service (Spark Academy, Lawrence, MA). - Track and monitor data on student achievement and teacher proficiency around once a month to differentiate coaching support. - Facilitate ~10 PDs per year during pre-service and all-corps conferences (mindset/leadership coaching, DEI, setting and communicating student growth goals, analyzing student feedback data, building classroom joy). - Plan and participate in CM culture events, 6 during Pre-Service and 1-2 times a quarter during SY, working with CMs to lead 2 events themselves. - Coordinate and lead CAP Licensure process per year for 10-15 2CMs within my cohort, including reviewing 250-375 teaching artifacts total and conducting 20-30 co-observations alongside school-based coaches, with 100% success rate. - Encourage 2CMs to teach beyond two years, with 75% of SY21-22’s rising alumni teaching again in SY22-23. - Interview for CM Selection for two deadlines, deciding to admit/reject 12 total candidates. - Collaborate with fellow TFAM staff to participate in learning (DEI, restorative justice, task management, coaching for equity), planning and shaping PDs, strategic planning, analyzing school/community partnership landscape.
