      My role in this position was to qualify leads, who made inquiries through our radio/t.v adverts etc. All qualified leads would simply be sent a pack to sign and return to us, to give us their authorisation. I would also have to man manage my time in order to chase these packs in, to enable me to hit my target, which I always achieved.       I started my role as a senior claims advisor for a short while, until the company expanded and I became a Sales Team Leader, within a team of 6 people. A few months later, myself and the Operations Director choose 4 suitable candidates to become both debt and claims advisor through a series of interviews. I also had to train my new candidates from scratch to become well knowledge'd debt advisor, with also having the responsibility of being claims advisor's at the same time. I now had the responsibility to drive sales through debt advising, these were possible clients we came across when calling to see if they qualified for a claim, but were in financial difficulty with that particular lender or across a few different lenders. My debt advisor's jobs were to qualify them for a debt management plan with the idea of reducing their debt or even receiving compensation from their claim depending on the value, so we were hitting two birds with one stone and really helping people become debt free quicker at an affordable rate. We also assisted with other debt free solutions as well depending in the clients circumstances. In these two roles I felt I was really progressing in my career in sales and I was also a great help to others, in progressing their's. Show less
