I analyzed carbon dioxide exchange in a tall-grass prairie ecosystem via isotopologues and micrometeorological techniques (such as isotope flux ratio methods derived from flux-gradient ideology).I assisted in starting a research project involving ammonia volatilization and analysis via an integrated horizontal flux methodology to estimate the amount of ammonia that is lost in an agricultural ecosystem when various fertilizers are applied using altering application strategies and/or when using a urease inhibitor. I have helped with numerous other studies, such as measuring simple environmental parameters in a switchgrass plot to helping install eddy covariance instrumentation that monitored methane and carbon dioxide fluxes emitted from a cattle feedlot.
