Design work and process improvement were the main focus of this position. I was able to be involved in many aspects of the production process. In my time at Praxis I was able to bring a custom piece of equipment from an idea on a page to full and qualified use in a medical parts production setting in just about 5 months. The company would buy overstocked items from Amazon and Wal-mart and I would examine the items that came in and make sure they worked and were undamaged. If they were undamaged I would list them on eBay. If there was a problem with any item, many of which were electronic devices, it was my job to tinker with and repair as many as possible. It was my job along with a crew of other waiters to set up for and cater to special events such as weddings or business parties. The job required me to be on my toes and think about many things that needed to happen all at once. Teamwork was very important and often I was thrown into a leadership roll where was job would be delegation.
