Since August 2013 I have been running wireline operations for Robertson Geo. In that time I have worked on many different projects (Spain, Holland, France, Denmark, Turkey) running a range of different tools on and offshore. When logging offshore I have worked on both drill ships and jackup rigs. The main roles of the job include the acquisition of geophysical data and the processing and reporting of data, predominantly through the use of WellCad and the WellCad Image Module software.As Robertson Geo’s local point of contact on these projects my duties also involved close liaison with clients and maintenance and servicing of all field equipment. All projects were different with some involving working alone while others working in a team. Tools I have run during my time with Robertson Geo include: Televiewers (Optical/Acoustic), PS Suspension Logger, Caliper, Formation Density, Dual Neutron, Verticality, Resistivity/ focussed resistivity, Magnetic Susceptibility, Natural Gamma, Induction, Temperature Conductiv, Flowmeter, Cement Bond Log, Full wave Sonic During this period I have also been involved in extensive testing and developing of logging equipment and software, including client training (Anything from 1 day up to one week) in house at RG and overseas.
