Kyle started as a Tissue Recovery Technician in January of 2014 and was promoted to Tissue Recovery Coordinator in February of 2015. Mr Martincic began his EMS career as an EMT-Basic with Pana Ambulance Service (a division of Decatur Ambulance Service) in January of 2005. In June of 2006 he left full-time employment to work for a hospital-based EMS service. After resigning his full-time position, Kyle stayed on as a PRN employee. Kyle continues to work as a PRN Paramedic for DAS at the Pana station. Mr. Martincic functioned as an EMT-B with Clinton Ambulance Service (the hospital based EMS provider of Dr John Warner Hospital) After completing his class he functioned as a Paramedic for Dr John Warner Hospital and Clinton Ambulance until August of 2012. A medical condition at that time demanded that Kyle take some time off from working EMS. On January 1st, 2013 Dr John Warner ceased to provide EMS services and Clinton Ambulance Service was dissolved. Kyle's job title upon leaving was Lead Shift Paramedic, his responsibilities included: 911 responses & interfacility transports. Assessment & treatment of trauma & medical patients. IV & phlebotomy. Cardiac monitoring, 12 Lead EKG acquisition & interpretation. Cardiac pacing, defibrillation, and cardioversion. Advanced airway maintenance. Drug administration and maintenance. Utilization of CPAP, IV pumps, & ventilators. Assisted throughout the hospital when requested. Responded within the hospital on all "Code Blue" calls.
