Scott Wolf
Kyle is one of the best adult facilitators of learning I have ever had the opportunity to work with. As a part of the Teacher For All Global Leadership of Practice cohort, Kyle bought together education leaders from around the world to have shared experiences where we learned from each other to promote great opportunities for students. Kyle was able to take the time to understand different culture, backgrounds, and needs to create a harmonious group that pushed each other, built relationships with each other, and most importantly have stayed in touch years after our experience together. Kyle made all of our learning experiences purposeful through her intentional planning. Kyle believes in the best in everyone that she works with and brings out the best as well with her care and compassion.

Kyle is hands down one of the most committed, supportive and intelligent managers I've ever had. Her leadership on Partnership development has been critical in supporting our managers and created opportunities that would not exist otherwise. I've relied on her experience as a former Principal to drive insights that inform our thought leadership and practices. Most importantly, she leads with a collaborative, mission first mentality and a leadership style that inspires!
Aimee Sargent
Kyle and I served on the Executive team together at Citizen Schools for 2 years. Kyle's superpowers are her unrelenting sense of optimism, developing a vision and deploying others to leverage their unique talents to execute with latitude and trust. Kyle approaches her work with inquiry. She isn't afraid to question why things have been done a certain way. Her honest, charismatic approach draws people in and she operates with a deep sense of integrity and commitment to equity.

For nearly 25 years, Citizen Schools has been a pioneer in educational equity. Since opportunity, unlike talent, is not equally distributed, we have provided hands-on learning experiences that ignite curiosity, build confidence and expand horizons for over 50,000 underrepresented middle school students. Together with our partners, including 25,000 career mentors, we have exposed students to ideas and connections, helping them access even better opportunities than previous generations. As Chief Impact Officer, I am responsible for overseeing organizational impact and growth of our national model of student and teacher learning. In leadership of multiple team across multiple regions, I ensure our organization works in alignment with our Theory of Change and maintains a highly rigorous bar of student impact. By overseeing our programmatic design, research and evaluation, sales and marketing and DEI teams, I build structures and systems that allow the team to excel. Show less

Global Director, School Leadership and Teacher Development
-
May 2015 - Feb 2019
Teach For All is an international network whose mission is to expand educational opportunity internationally by increasing and accelerating the impact of its members -- independent social enterprises that enlist their nation’s most promising future leaders in addressing educational need. Member organizations call upon their nations’ top recent college graduates, of all academic disciplines, to commit two years to teach in high-poverty areas and to become lifelong leaders in the pursuit of expanding educational opportunity. As the Global Director of School Leadership and Teacher Development, I was responsible for creating impactful learning experiences for School Principals and Instructional Leaders who were alumni of the global network. Through that venue, I shaped the vision for Global Communities of Practice which invited global education influencers to come together in-person and virtually to consider ways to contextualize best practices to promoting educational opportunity. Using my adult learning and team-building expertise, I designed a scope and sequence for these high-profile leaders that lead to significant impact for students and teachers around the world. Crawford Elementary School is a Title I school in the heart of original Aurora. Student demographics: 735 students, 95% free lunch, 90% English Language Learners, 20% refugees. Staff: 50 classroom and support teachers, 10 classified support staff, 15 custodial and office staff. As principal, I was honored to join a team of highly-skilled teachers and support staff as we redesigned our instructional approach and increased student learning outcomes. By diving into data we identified the needs of students and teachers to meet high learning goals. Our school's culture was defined by our commitment to doing whatever it takes to support our students. We centered on Critical Race Theory as we improved student behavior, increasing engagement and decreasing inequitable access to opportunities. As co-founder of the Crawford Community Center, I opened our school's doors to the community as a key partner in our improvement efforts. Through an inclusive process we designed a structure where parents and the community come together in support of their children. I am proud to say that this model continues today offering the school community access to medical and dental clinics, leadership experiences, and hundreds of clubs and opportunities for students and families.
