  As an Analyst in Asset and Portfolio Management at Dream Office REIT, I reported directly to the Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager. My portfolio was over 9.2 M square feet consisting of 69 commercial assets in Greater Toronto Area, Saskatoon, Regina, Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax and Moncton. I was responsible for all financial analysis within the portfolio from IFRS valuation impacts, capital expenditure impacts, lease negotiations, and managing portfolio KPIs. I also developed a new dashboard for benchmarking leasing performance against the market which improved data accuracy, reduced man hours needed and helped drive overall asset and strategy. I was also recognized as the resident Argus Enterprise Expert and held various training sessions.

  As a summer student over two separate summers at Quartz Capital, I was tasked with three main projects. First, I created a template to self update investor fact sheets pulling key financial results and projections from financial statements. Second, I implemented a new electronic database uploading paper files to new software. Finally, I assisted in industry analysis analyzing business activities, industry dynamics and competitive environment of prospective target acquisition companies.   As a summer student at JDNA, I mostly supported the marketing team. I was involved with on-line media management, responding to customer queries, tracking effectiveness of social media; updating web pages and executed web based promotions to increase traffic. I developed some Excel financial models to calculate margins to facilitate pricing decisions and determine profitability. I also supported the marketing team with creating of a product catalogue utilizing Photoshop and PowerPoint as well as reviewed and enhanced marketing posters and brochures.
