I had the pleasure of working with Kyle during my tenure at HealthFusion(acquired by Nextgen Healthcare in 2015). He joined our team at a crucial point when HealthFusion had reached its peak as a startup, with over 70+ engineers, 120+ total employee strength, and an abundance of projects to manage. The regular ad-hoc process we had been using was no longer sustainable, and Kyle stepped in to bring structure to our organization. One of Kyle's first tasks was to consolidate all the ongoing projects into a single view utilizing Smartsheet. He meticulously partnered with each project to create a dedicated timeline, ensuring that our main HealthFusion programs were up-to-date and usable by the C-suite leadership. This enabled the effective utilization of leadership time and streamlined our operations. Kyle's introduction as the first person to formalize HealthFusion's program management was pivotal in transitioning us from an ad-hoc approach to a well-formed project execution system. He displayed great adaptability in keeping us all organized while respecting the ongoing processes that had been in place for several years. At the same time, he maintained the foresight and patience necessary to guide us toward sustainable maturity in program execution. Kyle quickly earned the admiration of our engineers, who never felt uncomfortable when he attended their standup meetings and asked for tentative ETAs for upcoming deadlines. His pleasing personality, collaborative nature, and openness to feedback for continuous improvement made him a valued member of our team. It was both a privilege and a pleasure to have worked with Kyle. I am confident in his ability to organize and execute programs under his leadership and guidance effectively.

Kyle is an awesome program manager. After he came onboard at NextGen/Health Fusion , I witnessed projects being better managed and planned well. His attention to each person was amazing. He understood the view of a developer since he had programming background. Also this helped reduce the stress for developer and leadership team as he acted as the liaison between the 2 views and make things moving as per expectations. I would highly recommend Kyle and i am sure his dedication and attention to detail will make projects well handled, minimal stress and delays.

• Built structured processes around planning, scope definition, dependency tracking, and risk mitigation to deliver over a half dozen time-critical lab-automation projects within schedule and budget. • Utilizing quarterly planning and consistent estimation achieved company milestone of delivering over 50% of features in 90 days or less while increasing the count of features delivered by ~10% a quarter. • Provided five-figure cost savings to external client by replacing existing licensed software with a purpose-built integration. Involved defining requirements, documenting an API contract, creating a test plan, and executing a demo for acceptance. • Reduced the volume of reported production defects by ~50% within two months by standardizing communication, triage/prioritization, categorization, and scheduling of defects. • Serving as interim Product Owner for the Lab Information domain. Responsibilities include interfacing directly with clients and VOC representatives to identify requirements, documenting requirements and breaking down work in Jira, reviewing Epics and User Stories with engineering teams to refine acceptance criteria and estimate work, validating changes in staging environment, and grooming the domain backlog to ensure work is constantly flowing. • Created Dashboards utilizing Jira/Confluence/Python to measure progress on Feature execution and how teams are executing against KPIs. Information is presented regularly to both engineering and leadership teams. • Led a 2 month time-bound greenfield POC effort to develop a viable approach for 3rd party workcell control. Coordinated with Product to document the required workcell capabilities and identify the target 3rd party vendors. Worked alongside engineering to create OKRs and document project milestones. •Successfully led efforts to flatten communications and improve efficiency across R&D by transitioning all development teams to a shared Jira instance as a precursor to a full Agile transformation. Collaborated across the organization to develop requirements and gain approval from a cross-functional team. Created communication and training documents, developed migration strategies and timelines against project releases, and performed company-wide training sessions. • Identified critical risks in an Accounts Receivable project and led re-plan effort resulting in project completion without further schedule or scope changes. • Led Core Team of Product, Sales, and R&D to create quarterly feature roadmap and budget. Over 80% of proposals personally presented to senior management were successfully approved without modifications. • Developed several key process improvements that reduced Production Defects by 20% and enhanced client communication for resolved defects. These initiatives included: Identifying Jira as an improved tracking system to streamline product development and improve traceability, integrating Salesforce and Jira for easier communication between Customer Service and Engineering, and establishing a weekly corrective and preventive actions meeting to review production issues and resolve root cause problems in addition to a deployment go/no-go meeting. • Developed Python scripts to migrate Defect and Test Case data from HP ALM and TFS to Jira utilizing Jira REST API, Zephyr for Jira API, and ALM REST API. • Work directly with Scrum teams to facilitate and guide project planning/estimation, design/architecture, and execution. Projects and technologies utilized include: ONC 2015 Certification using Java, JavaScript, Oracle, and MongoDB; Patient Tracker using CometD for chat and notifications; and integrating with a third-party, CoverMyMeds, on Electronic Prior Authorization.
