  Sole bid writer for the grounds maintenance section of a significant Facilities Management tender, which saw A.P. Broome Landscapes become the nationwide GM contractor for National Grid's Corporate Property division. Appointed as Mobilisation Manager and tasked with national implementation of contract ideology. • SGN Contract Manager

  Key member of both the bid co-ordination, and pre-tender negotiation team involved in the successful acquisition of a significant grounds maintenance contract with a large energy client. Appointed to lead mobilisation of the contract upon acquisition, spanning four areas of the south east. Responsible for overseeing TUPE transfers, recruitment strategy, contract organisation and primary client liaison. Supervision of successful contract launch, meeting all client requirements in advance of deadlines set. Subsequently selected to oversee daily operations of contract during and beyond the period of stabilisation. Management of several specialist teams taking responsibility for overall service delivery, adherence to agreed KPI's and compliance with contract specific HSQE requirements. Successful first 6 months saw the expansion of contract parameters via additional works, and the establishment as primary contractor for associated firms.

  Initially, I was tasked with developing the company's existing database system in order to maximise its potential benefits. After achieving rapid progress in this area, I focused upon the development and nationwide implementation of a mobile database system to allow operatives the ability to relay important data from remote locations. A similarly rapid progression was achieved with this project and I subsequently oversaw the implementation of this mobile system across three major contracts in early 2014. This process involved the creation and execution of a brand new training program for over 50 operatives to attend. I also currently maintain the companies existing telecommunications contracts, manage and facilitate any necessary tech support at our Preston site, whilst also developing improved organisational systems. I have written several pieces of company specific copy and believe myself to be an accomplished copywriter. As part of this role, I have recently re-drafted the entire textual output of our sister company's website.
