    • Asset & Execution Completions Engineer - Powder River Basin, Wyoming
      • Oct 2019 - Apr 2020

Designed, executed and analyzed completions within Turner, Parkman and Teapot formations in Power River Basin, Wyoming. Reduced well cost and improved production performance through collaboration with reservoir and geology teams, testing and implementation of new technologies, and application of advanced frac techniques. Completed both plug & perf and coil-frac well designs.Continuous evaluation of performance & cost analysis studies effectively increasing cycle time by more than 30%, and reducing costs by more than 40%. Evaluation of chemical program, pump design, plug & perf optimization and zipper operation efficiencies generated reductions. Reduced stimulation costs through technological testing and implementation, analysis from data projects, and optimization of efficiencies. Optimized material usage through advancing technologies, analysis of areas of excess, and constant price evaluation of vendors. Generated area and reservoir specific stimulation designs to optimize for production and costs. Show less

    • Asset Completion Engineer - STACK Basin
      • Jan 2015 - Oct 2019

Designed and analyzed completions within Meramac and Woodford formations in STACK play. Optimized pump schedules and designs to cost and reservoir attributes. Helped lead multiple science projects involving three fiber optic wells, two vertical science wells, offset pressure monitoring, oil and water tracer, fiber production logs, and collaborated with microseismic data on same sections. Maintained budget and cost optimizations of $10MM science project, as well as annual $200-300MM completions budget in business unit.Partnered with operations team to discover and develop 12 new technologies for industry.Identified and developed patented technology involving previously undetected pressure data that is $500k less capital than alternative technologies. Utilized data from diagnostic projects to discover and validate data, implemented new trials and effectiveness.Upgraded the chemical program for Devon in the STACK basin to a cheaper, less damaging, and more efficient frac fluid. Consulted with Devon geologic and reservoir teams, identified and tested new technology, implemented and analyzed new completions fluids. Published industry paper providing knowledge and learnings from experimental tests that resulted in a shift to the new frac fluid for competitors across STACK basin. Saved $100k+ per well.Collaborated on two SPE published papers regarding innovative science work in the play:• SPE 189893-MS “Case Studies of High Viscosity Friction Reducers HVFR in the STACK Play”• SPE 184862-MS “New Age Fracture Mapping Diagnostic Tools-A STACK Case Study”Provided integral role in developing patented Sealed Wellbore Pressure Monitoring (SWPM) technology through science projects in STACK basin. Ability to plan, execute and analyze SWPM data.• SPE-199731-MS “Monitoring the Pulse of a Well Through Sealed Wellbore Pressure Monitoring, a Breakthrough Diagnostic With a Multi-Basin Case Study” Show less
