  Asheville, North Carolina Area The Grovewood Cafe is a small fine dining restaurant on the grounds of the Grove Park Inn. They are not affiliated with the hotel. I began as an intern during my time in culinary school. Eventually the owner opened a second restaurant and made me his sous chef. I was in charge of dinner service Tuesday-Saturday. I did that for about ten months before moving back to Charlotte to return to school.
