  I'm currently working as a research assistant at the Homeless advocacy, research, and collaboration (HARC) lab at DePaul University. The study I'm currently on is focusing on those who face chronic homelessness and what they, along with shelter staff, identify as barriers to housing, employment, government aid, etc. Starting October 2018 I've begun separate research with this lab through the DUOS grant awarded by DePaul University. This study, titled Shelter Stayer and Staff Perspectives on Criminal Justice System Involvement, works with the same qualitative data set but closely examines how this population explains and internalizes their experiences with the Criminal Justice system. Additionally, looking at how shelter staff have navigated working with clients that have had these experiences.

Responsibilities included review of journals and studies, data entry, use of endnote and access, team communication.
