Musa Tokgöz
I had the pleasure of working with Sergey as my manager. His mentorship was truly inspirational. I learned a lot about good practices in software development and agile ways of working. He has a strong software engineering background. He shares his experience with teams and whole organization. One of his strengths is to be able to identify bottlenecks in development processes. He encourages the team to take initiatives and come up with reasonable actions for improving the processes. He is organized and good at time management. I can definitely recommend Sergey on building agile teams, mentoring individuals, technical decisions and leadership. I hope our ways will cross again in the future.

I've very much enjoyed working with Sergey as one of my Engineering Managers where he was tasked with handling 3 cross-functional development teams; he helped coach agile methodologies, encourage an empowered team culture, ensure that each team member had a voice, guided the teams through their technical decisions, and helped recruit excellent employees. Sergey's definitely understood the impact a bad manager can have on a team, and strives to strike the proper balance between guiding while being hands-off and taking more direct action. Especially important is that Sergey is quite easy to talk with and give feedback to, and he genuinely seeks to improve himself and how he can better cooperate and work with all staff. Crucially, he also understands that not everyone is open to receiving feedback in the same way, and he does his best to adapt his feedback and management styles to synergize with the person he is interacting with. As a last note, Sergey can be blunt sometimes in sharing his opinions, but he's always quick to clarify and explain further if you ask him to expand further. I've immensely appreciated his honesty and transparency, it makes working together so much smoother.
