I've very much enjoyed working with Sergey as one of my Engineering Managers where he was tasked with handling 3 cross-functional development teams; he helped coach agile methodologies, encourage an empowered team culture, ensure that each team member had a voice, guided the teams through their technical decisions, and helped recruit excellent employees. Sergey's definitely understood the impact a bad manager can have on a team, and strives to strike the proper balance between guiding while being hands-off and taking more direct action. Especially important is that Sergey is quite easy to talk with and give feedback to, and he genuinely seeks to improve himself and how he can better cooperate and work with all staff. Crucially, he also understands that not everyone is open to receiving feedback in the same way, and he does his best to adapt his feedback and management styles to synergize with the person he is interacting with.
