- Worked as main analyst in the inter-agency to develop new Socio Economic Classification (SEC) system for Market Research Society of India (MRSI).- Developed SEC system for Market Research Society of Sri Lanka (MRSSL).- Worked on CSD pricing studies in Morocco and Algeria.- Conducted a research study for client to find out whether Van Westendorp's Price Sensitivity Meter (PSM) could be used online and without price prompt.- Conducted training sessions across Kantar India offices on topics: BIP, Correspondence analysis, CCM, Hypothesis testing, Sampling, Multivariate analysis techniques, Time series.- Worked on driver analysis projects using Bayesian Belief Network.- Working on development of WebApp using Python, Django, RxJS and D3.js. The idea is to host many apps in one place with enhanced speed, security and cutting-edge data visualisation.- Working on Harmonisation of size of Socio-economic classes with census. Show less

Jul 2013 - Apr 2018
Key role: Innovation in pricing and other market research techniques, Statistician- Responsible for designing and modeling of non-FMCG pricing projects of all Kantar India offices.- Worked on several FMCG projects including Cold drinks pricing studies in Morocco, Egypt; involved in designing and analysis of these studies to create a representative market simulator.- Developed a method of simulations for choice based conjoint(CBC) studies to rectified long standing "Red Bus Blue Bus" problem in multinomial logit model.- Member of core team that developed a method for non-FMCG pricing to handle a large number of attributes in a conjoint study. It helped our firm to increase its client base in the automobile sector.- Automated many time consuming and recurrent steps for self use and for our organisation. Also created user-friendly apps in R-Shiny and VBA for complicated analytical methods. - Created a tool in R which can be used to replicate excel based pricing simulator into an R/C++ based simulator, which increased the simulation speed by 250 times. The increased speed of this simulator is useful to solve optimisation problem.- Implemented genetic algorithm for optimisation in R, which can be used to find optimal product and its price from pricing simulator.- Oversaw designing and analysis of MaxDiff projects of all offices of Kantar India.- Worked on segmentation studies for automobile sector using factor analysis and k-means.- Co-authored a research paper which is about correction for higher levels of non-response in extreme upper and lower affluence groups in a society. Presented and won award for the paper in IIM-Lucknow EMCB Conference 2017. Show less

Key role: In depth investigation, development and implementation of statistical and optimization techniques for providing model solutions to supply chain management problems - Used EM algorithm for uncensoring ‘sales data with stock out’ to represent true demand. - Created and implemented new exponential smoothing methods for higher robustness in prediction of multivariate time series data with high homogeneity among variables. - Researched and modeled a new breakthrough optimization algorithm to generate optimum routes from warehouses to retail shops under standard constraints. Key achievements: - Optimized various codes for speed, stability and scalability on R achieving 75% reduction in run time - Self-learned perl language to eliminate dependence on system testing team reducing turnaround time significantly Show less
