      - Swiftly adapted to using Autodesk Revit for producing Mechanical floor plans.- Conducted building heat load calculations using Trace3D in order to size the air handling unit and choose similar HVAC equipment per load. - Performed pressure loss calculations for ducts systems to size the AHU & Exhaust Fans for an office building.- Communicated with manufacturing representatives and discussed the engineering calculations to choose an equipment that best suited a project’s needs. - Calculated outside air required for a building per LEED requirements and adapted to using energy efficient methods of air conditioning. Thanks LEED.- I have a good understanding of how an Air Handling Unit works in conjecture with Terminal Units and Fan powered boxes and diffusers to condition a building.

      - Standardized technical drawings for portable tools and parts that adhere to ASME Y14.5 2009 standards.- Work with a team of senior engineers on updating over 400 machining and assembly drawings in Autodesk Inventor.- Update and tweak existing engineer processes for manufacturing while maintaining quality standards.- A problem I helped solve here was trying to redraw very complex parts that are used in pipe bevelers. There were missing documentation and most people who worked on creating these parts were unavailable and therefore I had to investigate using the company database, communicate with CNC machinists and senior engineers to deduce the details and dimensions of the aforementioned parts.

    • Engineering Grader

      - Work with the instructor to grade homework assignments and quizzes for the Analysis and Design of Machined Component's Class. - This position helped me improve my knowledge on machined components (again) and sharpened my detailed oriented skill. - Work with the instructor to grade homework assignments and quizzes for the Analysis and Design of Machined Component's Class. - This position helped me improve my knowledge on machined components (again) and sharpened my detailed oriented skill.

      - My internship at Sulzer introduced me to the world of Industrial Engineering. I was able to build my networking skills as well as enhance my technical skills from my peers. I was responsible for CAD models and produced drawings for vertical pumps and managed key documents that were sent to customers. I was able to apply the material learned from engineering classes at this internship directly. - One of the toughest problems that I solved at Sulzer was re-engineering the impeller stand which was used by Impeller Machining department. The stand would wear out quickly and needed a more ergonomic design that would improve the efficiency and comfort while machining those impellers. Therefore, I helped develop a more ergonomic design which was made up of a more cost effective material and was better suited for the purpose.

During my role at the library, I was responsible for technology related tasks such as managing emails, scanning, and managing different file types. As this was a student oriented role, I was exposed to university instructors and communicated with them on a daily basis on information related to their courses. This role made me more detailed oriented and enhance my communications and technology skills. • Freshman Engineering Peer Tutor

I was a tutor for the introductory class of Mechanical Engineering. It included an introduction to concepts of Arduino programming, Microsoft Excel, SolidWorks and it brushes a bit on Mathworks MATLAB. I also tutored the students on building circuits on a breadboard and helped with using simple tools such as using a drill. The students mainly focused on programming which usually takes a while to have grasp on. I was a tutor for the introductory class of Mechanical Engineering.
