Other job requirements: Quality Control for International shipments: - Insuring wood packaging including pallets are ISPM15 compliant - Customer product is securely boxed or banded to pallets. - Assembling International shipments with the focus on volumizing with the intent to reduce shipping costs. - Provide complete documentation to freight forwarders such as Shipper's Letter of Instructions and commercial invoices. - Insure AES filings are completed for certain routed and non routed shipments including UPS, FED EX and DHL. Also LCL and FCL. Other responsibilities: Scheduling and live loading of full container shipments - Communicating with our customer's freight forwarders via e-mail or phone to coordinate the shipments from New Berlin to the destination. -Communicating with our international and corporate sales staff to gather the correct customer instructions to ship their orders. At times working direct with customer's logistics team or buyers to facilitate shipments. Other skills: Broad knowledge of SAP since 2002 which included being part of a team that customized our current shipping software. Problem solving and troubleshooting of our current shipping software and support for other shipping departments and logistics teams members within our organization. Providing leadership to other team members regarding proper methods to ship and package customer orders. Also mentoring new DC personnel on company culture and expectations. Show less
