I worked with Kurt at Fake Love where he was a Senior Concept Artist. Kurt was one of the key elements that made Fake Love a special place during his time there. His concept art was the first wave of seeing our creative ideas come to life in amazing ways. His skill and speed at delivering beautiful renderings from vague descriptions were an essential part of how we won business and set the tone for who we were in the early stages of a project. This speaks to his ability to not only take in a lot of information quickly, but to really understand and contribute his own thoughts for how a concept could come to life. We pitched on some pretty fantastical, sci-fi stuff that had never been done before, and Kurt’s style always elevated those ideas to be something exciting and eye opening for a client. I also enjoyed working with Kurt to develop creative ideas from scratch. He is able to come up with some really interesting and unusual concepts when given a blank slate. He also works unbelievably hard while staying calm under pressure and was able to manage his time to get an incredible amount of varied work done. Finally, I found Kurt to be a really genuine, kind and smart person who contributed a lot to our culture, and I think that plus his combined skills make him a very special find for his future opportunities.
